共三党 – Com-Mu-Nist LP

Kyōsantō from Hiroshima named themselves after Japan’s communist party. They only released two tapes during their time, both came out in 1984 on their own Communist Rebel label. This LP has them both. The music is simple, lo-fi and fast paced hardcore punk, supposedly with political lyrics akin the The Stalin. For example, one of their songs is called sth. like „Aren’t you ashamed of yourself, Tennō of Japan?“, which sounds pretty direct to my ears, haha. Kyōsantō’s drummer also played on Gudon, but Kyōsantō are musically a lot less extreme.

Enjoy!
