Kenzi & The Trips – Diana 7″

I’m pretty sure Paul Anka never thought that 30 years after the original release in 1957 somebody might do this to his song. Kenzi sings Anka’s famous ballad with such snotty irony in his voice that it’s definitely not a love song anymore. The song on Side B is a punk/new wave ballad with a very hard rock solo, and I’m too tired to come up with a better description. There’s nothing you can do about that. Hah!

Are you sure you really want her to stay, Kenzi?
