Judgement – Process 7“

Process from 1997 was Judgement’s first 7“ release. The tracks on this single were recorded in the same session as the songs on No Reason Why, so sound and style are pretty similar on these two records. Process on side A is a heavy mid-tempo number with damn cool guitar leads; the arpeggio playing in the verse may be a hard rock cliché, but a serious fuck you to anyone who’s bothered by this. Fuck you. This is great shit. The Situation on side B is a fast and powerful burning spirits stomper, and both songs win so fucking much through singer Nori’s great vocal delivery (Crück rules, fucker!).

Get it!

Judgement – Just Be… 7“

Just Be… from 2000 was Judgement’s final 7“ after yet another change of lead singers. Seems like they really went all out for their last release, after all „Just Be…“ was their only four track EP (!) after a string of 4 singles, haha. I guess I’ve already sung all the praises there are to be sung about Judgement in my last posts of their 7“es, but still:

This is great shit!

Judgement – Haunt In The Dark 7“

After their first two 7“es which were recorded with Crück‘s singer Nori, Judgement recorded their third one with the mighty Bastard‘s Tokurow on vocals. His voice really fits these songs, which sound a lot more blunt and direct when compared to their first release. „The Mad Dog“ on Side A is a fast stomper with a cool stop-and-go verse, and „Haunt In The Dark“ on Side B has one of the most recognisable and well-travelled riffs on punk’s history.

Watch your back, you degenerate, there’s a Party in Paris today!

Judgement – No Reason Why 7″

Judgement’s 2nd 7″ from 1996 is a truly awesome release. Judgement released 5 7″es in different line ups with different singers, but sadly never a full length album. These two tracks are incredibly powerful, the production is great, the band is tight as hell… but what do you expect, when a band is made up of people who also played in Lipcream, Crück, Death Side, Chicken Bowels, Bastard, Gudon and Systematic Death?
