Aside from their split with Phaidia this 7“ from 1981 was the only release by Gilles De Rais. The a-side, Vampire, starts out with omnious noisey soundscapes before turning into an equally ominous, synth-laden, lo-fi gothic rock song with even more noisy injections and warbling vocals. The b-side is calm, synth and vocals only, some sort of twisted ballad. Definitely a cool 7“.
